MARC ANTONY - Triple Grand Ch. Carstutz Marc Antony of Leahsblues (Sire: RW SGC Rowanridge Spiritbear of PurRydeRoc (Bearwalker - 2nd best MC in NW Region TICA 2003-2004) – Solid Black) (Dam: Ch. Carstutz Wild Irish Rose “Rosalie” – Blue Silver Patched Mackerel Tabby with White)
With a great big thanks to Ruth Sogz, Carstutz Wild Irish Rose (blue cream silver mackerel tabby with white) was bred to PurRydeRoc Cattery's RW SGC Rowanridge Spiritbear of PurRydeRoc (Bearwalker - 2nd best MC in NW Region TICA 2003-2004) Two kittens were born August 30th.Marc Antony (or Marcus), a silver mackerel tabby with white, is a big, gentle kitten (roughly 20 pounds @ 1 year). His main points of focus are his wonderful square muzzle, his tall tufted ears, his great personality, his wonderful mackerel patterned coat, and his genetics – he is heterozygous for solid and dilute, and carries silver and classic blotched tabby. He has a wonderful loving personality and has now joined John Baxter's breeding program in the UK. Marc Antony took two second best of breed kitten (there were 8 Maine coons). He also took one 5th Best Longhair kitten (out of 17). Marc Antony loved to spend his day chasing around with his brother, Caesar, and his grandfather, Merlin, playing with the dogs, or languishing on the couch with me. His extremely gentle nature and relaxed personality make him a wonderful family addition and a great ambassador of the breed! He has adjusted well to his new home in London, and is enjoying being Lord of the Manor. N.B. At the Syracuse Maine Coon Cat Congress in June, Marc Antony (and his brother) did extremely well, finishing two finals short of a Grand Champion (he has enough points). In the maine coon congress, he was 5th Best Maine Coon (out of 27 maine coons). In one show, he was Best Long Haired Cat (out of 37 long-haired cats). He will be hopefully finishing his GC title in the UK in July and heading on to further titles. At the Newbury, UK show, Marc Antony took at 2nd and a 4th in a four ring show TICA show, obtaining his TGCH title. Marc Antony is now in his new home in the UK, having sired 11 kittens here before leaving. He is enjoying his new home with John Baxter of Leahsblues, and going to GCCF and TICA shows in the UK, and meeting those British girls! At the GCCF show on labour day weekend, Marc Antony continued to wow them, taking best maine coon in starting his climb to a GCCF Champion title.
